Sheena Chartrand is a partner with Walsh LLP. In her spare time, she is also a wife and proud mommy to her young daughter. Sheena’s law practice has her travelling around Calgary to meet with exciting, innovative, and determined clients who embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of the Province. On the weekends, however, parenthood has made Sheena a regular at the Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park, and Telus Spark Science Centre.

Having practiced law in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta for a number of years, Sheena has developed a strong network of colleagues, mentors, and advisors. Most importantly, she has earned the confidence and loyalty of her clients. Sheena’s practice focuses on commercial lending and real estate conveyancing, corporate and contractual matters, leasing, and business acquisitions and dispositions.

Sheena was raised by parents devoted to public service, and she fully understands and appreciates the needs of Albertans for transparency and efficiency in obtaining legal services. She has established productive and cooperative relationships with many professionals throughout the Province which often benefits her clients. When faced with an adversarial matter, however, she never hesitates to stand up and advocate strongly for her clients.

Sheena started her academic journey in her hometown of Calgary at the Haskayne School of Business before starting her legal career in Saskatchewan. A new family landed her in Winnipeg for a short time before (very happily) returning to Calgary where she has grown permanent roots in the community. While she still cheers the Winnipeg Jets to appease her in-laws, Sheena is proud to call Calgary home, and she looks forward to many more years of assisting in the growth and development of this great City.
