Irfan Kanji is an associate at Walsh LLP. He has recently completed his articles with a focus in tax litigation, and works primarily in the corporate commercial and real estate practice areas.

Prior to law school, Irfan worked in the fields of finance and banking in Calgary, where he acquired a business acumen which he brings to his practice at Walsh. Irfan grew up in a family of small business owners, and has learned from a young age the importance of developing strong relationships in business dealings. Irfan brings this to his practice and strives to develop long-lasting relationships with his clients.

Irfan has a passion for travel, which he believes has contributed to his understanding of the intricate differences between cultures. Irfan’s passion for travel has taken him to Chile, Vietnam, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and various European countries.

When not in the office, you can find Irfan on a soccer field, cheering on his beloved Arsenal FC, or trying new restaurants with his wife.
